Social Networking stuff you use?

What social networking sites/things are you using? I just started using Twitter a month ago, and am enjoying it. I think I may start a tumblr.com blog for quick blog posting. I use blogger for my personal blogging, and I'm fairly active on Facebook (when time permits). Other things I use: Bloglines, Delicious, the Marumushi newsmap (http://marumushi.com/apps/newsmap/newsmap.cfm).

I use lots of different things, but my new favorite is Twitter! It's been really fun to explore, and there are lots of different apps that can be used with Twitter.

Hey Lindsay, did you ever check out Facebook? If so, what did you think? I too have been deciding if I should check it out.

Okay - I've now been using Netvibes more and really like it. I find it very useful to only have to check 2 tabs to see if people have updated the blogs I follow. Also, I've been using Delicious to bookmark articles I've seen that will be future blog posts or information for my papers this term.

I listen to music on Jango, look at YouTube a lot; use Wikipedia as the starting point for most of my and my daughters' questions. My friends and I post movie reviews for each other on Netflix. I have looked at and used photos from fffound. I organize my bookmarks on del.icio.us. And lastly, I am an avid fan of cooking and baking blogs, especially Big City, Little Kitchen. Thanks to LIS 768, I also have joined Twitter, Google Reader, and I have started my own blog

Social networking things that I use--Delicious, Flickr, Bloglines, Google Reader, blogs, wikis, and now (as of yesterday) Twitter and Second Life. I don't have a Facebook profile, but I am starting to think I should check it out. I worry that the more things I open and thus broaden my digital dossier, the less personal control I have of it. Maybe this week I will look into Facebook (if I feel really daring!)

Until my Library 2.0 class I really haven't used most of the social networking sites. I used flickr a couple times to view others' photos. The class has given me a great chance to see and hear more about the site and then play with it my self. I have now set up Twitter, delicious, netvibes and a blog. I haven't fallen in love with anything yet so I'm not for sure how I will use them after the class ends.
