Looking for a new RSS reader?

I heard from a little birdie that Bloglines may be going down the tubes. I have no idea if this is true; my feeds appear to be updating normally, but it got me to thinking... maybe I should start using another RSS reader, just in case. What have you used and liked/disliked? I have Google Reader, but the layout isn't my favorite. I like the sleek look of Bloglines. Its simplicity is what appeals to me. Is there something else like Bloglines out there?

What is that, anyway?

I think that it would be kind of fun and informative if we include a section of our Ning where we can answer questions for ourselves, and possibly others, about various tools and terms with which we are unfamiliar.
